Health Benefits of Really Raw Honey is the title of an article that details what the title indicates- some very tangible health benefits of raw honey. Honey's nutritional and healing values are perhaps better known than some others such as its use for stomach and digestive disorders. Mentioned specifically are beneficial effects on gastric and intestinal ulcers as well as laxative effects.

Also cited is the use of raw honey to treat allergies. A daily teaspoon of raw honey may be all that is required.

A Urine Test for Prostate Cancer

A Science Daily article titled New Urine Test Detects Prostate Cancer Better Than Other Methods, Study Suggests, reveals that researchers from the University of Michigan have developed a biomarker test that may more accurately detect prostate cancer. It comes in the form of a urine test for four distinct RNA molecules associated with prostate cancer patients.

The test is said to be much more accurate than the PSA blood test currently used. An objective of those seeking a better test indicator is a test accurate enough to make biopsies unnecessary to rule out cancer. However, if the test comes into use it will likely initially supplement PSA blood screening.
